Location: Ogden, Utah, USA
Reports to: Director, Warehousing ASA
Team Size: 6 direct, ~90 indirect + 100-150 temp workers
Travel: ~10% domestic/international
Role Summary:
The DC Manager oversees warehousing and distribution operations, ensuring timely product dispatch, high service quality, and operational efficiency. This role leads a large team, manages budgets, drives continuous improvement, and ensures compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Operations & Planning:
- Manage DC capacity, performance, and inventory.
- Ensure timely inbound/outbound flow and quality control.
- Maintain compliance with OSHA, customs, and safety standards.
Team Leadership:
- Structure and develop teams across core DC functions.
- Set KPIs, manage performance, and support training and development.
- Foster a culture of accountability, safety, and well-being.
Budget & Cost Control:
- Develop and manage annual budgets.
- Monitor financial performance and drive cost-saving initiatives.
Continuous Improvement:
- Lead Lean and productivity initiatives.
- Enhance processes to support omnichannel distribution.
Qualifications:
Experience:
- 8+ years in logistics and business management
- Proven leadership and change management experience
- International exposure preferred
Education:
- Degree in Engineering, Business, or Logistics
Skills:
- Strategic thinking, P&L management, ERP/WMS (SAP), Lean/CI
- Strong communication, decision-making, and problem-solving
- Knowledge of warehouse automation and omnichannel logistics
