Senior Refrigeration and Utilities Manager
We're looking for a seasoned leader to oversee refrigeration and utility operations at a newly built, large-scale food manufacturing facility. This is a rare opportunity to help launch a cutting-edge site and establish best-in-class processes from day one.
What You'll Do:
- Manage all plant utility systems, including ammonia refrigeration, compressed air, boilers, steam, wastewater, and environmental controls.
- Lead a skilled team of supervisors and technicians, driving safety, reliability, and efficiency across operations.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and maintain a safe, hazard-free environment.
- Oversee equipment installation and maintenance, optimizing performance and minimizing downtime.
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives, cost-saving strategies, and capital projects.
- Deliver accurate reporting and support Lean and TPM methodologies to enhance productivity.
What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, plus 10+ years in utilities or maintenance leadership.
- Strong background in ammonia refrigeration and PSM, with technical expertise in electrical and hydraulic systems.
- Proven ability to lead teams and collaborate across functions; certifications like CMRP or Six Sigma are a plus.
- Experience in food manufacturing and knowledge of USDA/FDA standards preferred.
