Operations Supervisor - Supply Chain
Location: Charlotte, NC (On-site)
Schedule: Flexible shifts including mornings, afternoons, nights, and weekends as needed
About the Role
Safety is the foundation of everything we do. As an Operations Supervisor, you'll be a key leader in maintaining a safe, efficient, and productive environment. You'll guide a team of associates through daily operations, ensuring compliance with safety protocols, optimizing workflow, and driving performance across receiving, order fulfillment, and shipping functions.
This role is dynamic and fast-paced, requiring real-time decision-making, cross-functional collaboration, and strong leadership to support the success of our supply chain operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead associates in core operational areas: receiving, order-fill, shipping, and support tasks
- Monitor production volume and allocate tasks to maximize efficiency
- Enforce safety protocols, conduct training, and address safety concerns promptly
- Make real-time decisions to respond to changing workflow conditions
- Resolve operational issues to minimize disruptions
- Communicate daily workload plans, business objectives, and performance expectations
- Support associates through coaching and handling associate relations matters
- Collaborate with other teams to enhance overall supply chain performance
What We're Looking For
- Ability to work a set schedule that may vary based on facility needs
- Willingness to work mornings, afternoons, nights, and/or weekends
- Comfortable working in both indoor and outdoor environments with varying climate conditions
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs unassisted (up to 70 lbs with assistance or team lift)
Qualifications Minimum Requirements:
- 4 years of experience in distribution center or warehouse operations
OR
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Transportation, Industrial Engineering, Business, or related field - Basic math and reading comprehension skills
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office
- Proven commitment to safety compliance

- Experience fostering a safety-first culture
- Leadership experience with direct reports
- Strong mentoring and coaching abilities
- Experience monitoring team performance and ensuring quality
- Effective communication with leadership and cross-functional teams
- Previous leadership roles in supply chain or corporate initiatives
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems
- Bilingual skills (if applicable to the facility)
Working Conditions
This role may involve exposure to varying climates and environmental conditions, including extreme heat or cold, humidity, and noise. Associates must follow lifting guidelines and use powered equipment as required, with proper training and support.
