Head of Global Travel Retail (GTR)
Location: Open across Europe (Hamburg preferred, Paris also considered)
Our client is a leading international consumer goods business operating across 60+ markets globally. As part of an ongoing transformation, they are seeking an experienced Global Travel Retail leader to build and scale a strategically important channel.
The Role
Reporting to the International Business Director, you will be responsible for developing and executing the Global Travel Retail strategy, driving commercial growth, strengthening key customer relationships, and building the future structure of the function.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the Global Travel Retail strategy
- Grow key airport, duty-free, and border store accounts
- Drive new business development and market expansion
- Build processes, structure, and future team capability
- Balance strategic planning with hands-on commercial leadership
Requirements
- 8-10+ years Global Travel Retail experience
- Strong expertise across airport, duty-free, border store and travel retail channels
- Proven success winning and growing major international accounts
- Leadership experience, ideally including team or function building
- Background in Spirits, FMCG, Wine, Beauty, or other Travel Retail-focused industries
- Fluent English
