One of our leading clients in the poultry industry is seeking a Live Production Manager to oversee feed, hatchery, and grow-out operations. This individual will drive production performance, support contract grower relationships, and ensure compliance with animal welfare, biosecurity, and operational standards.
Qualifications for the Live Production Manager include:
- 6+ years of leadership experience within poultry or live animal production environments.
- Strong understanding of flock management, nutrition programs, animal welfare standards, and poultry production best practices.
- Experience managing large-scale feed, hatchery, and grow-out operations.
- Proven ability to lead multi-site teams and build effective partnerships with growers and cross-functional stakeholders.
- BACHELORS DEGREE REQUIRED
Responsibilities for the Live Production Manager Include:
- Provide leadership and strategic direction across feed, hatchery, and live production operations to achieve production, quality, and financial objectives.
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance overall operational performance through data-driven decision making.
- Collaborate closely with veterinary services, hatchery teams, feed operations, and field personnel to maximize flock performance, health, and productivity.
- Lead, coach, and develop production staff, field teams, and contract growers while promoting accountability and continuous improvement.
- Maintain compliance with animal welfare, biosecurity, environmental, food safety, and regulatory requirements while supporting audits and emergency response initiatives.
