Key Responsibilities

  • Lead daily production operations to ensure safety, quality, service, and cost objectives are consistently achieved.
  • Manage, coach, and develop production supervisors and frontline employees while fostering a culture of accountability and engagement.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, waste reduction, labor efficiency, throughput, and operational excellence.
  • Monitor plant KPIs and implement action plans to improve attainment, yields, downtime, labor performance, and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
  • Collaborate with Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Warehouse teams to improve plant performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with all food safety, GMP, HACCP, sanitation, quality, and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective action efforts to reduce downtime, improve reliability, and strengthen operational performance.
  • Support employee training, workforce planning, succession development, and overall team growth initiatives.
  • Champion Lean Manufacturing, TPM, and continuous improvement programs throughout the facility.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience within food, beverage, dairy, bakery, protein, ingredient, or consumer packaged goods manufacturing.
  • Proven experience leading supervisors and large hourly production teams in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of food safety systems, GMPs, HACCP, and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Experience driving measurable improvements in productivity, labor efficiency, quality performance, and operational KPIs.
  • Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and team development skills.
  • Experience implementing Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, TPM, or Operational Excellence initiatives.
