Maintenance Supervisor - Food & Beverage Manufacturing | San Francisco Bay Area
Compensation: $90,000-$110,000 + Competitive Benefits Package
Key Responsibilities:
- Champion Operational Excellence: Spearhead proactive maintenance strategies, leveraging Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Lean Manufacturing principles to minimize downtime and optimize asset performance.
- Empower and Elevate the Team: Lead with vision-recruit, mentor, and inspire a team of skilled technicians. Foster a culture of continuous learning, accountability, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Cultivate a Safety-First Mindset: Drive a zero-incident culture by embedding best-in-class EHSS protocols, ensuring compliance and promoting a proactive approach to workplace safety.
- Optimize Workflows and Standards: Utilize data-driven decision-making to allocate resources, streamline processes, and ensure alignment with OEM specifications, GMP standards, and regulatory compliance.
- Accelerate Continuous Improvement: Lead Kaizen initiatives, support technical upskilling, and champion digital transformation efforts to enhance operational agility and scalability.
Qualifications:
- Educational Foundation: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field, with 3+ years of progressive experience in maintenance leadership-or equivalent combination of education and hands-on expertise.
- Technical Mastery: Deep knowledge of Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM), TPM, and predictive maintenance technologies. Proven success in managing industrial maintenance teams in high-volume environments.
- Industry Experience: Background in food, beverage, or pharmaceutical manufacturing preferred. Experience with chocolate production is a strong plus.
- Collaborative Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead in unionized environments, build cross-functional partnerships, and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- EHSS & Compliance Savvy: Strong grasp of environmental, health, safety, and security standards tailored to food production facilities.
- Tech-Enabled Operations: Proficiency in CMMS platforms, Microsoft Office Suite, and other digital tools to drive efficiency and transparency.
