Procurement and Sourcing Manager
A growing, commercial-stage life sciences company is seeking a Manager, Sourcing & Procurement to lead purchasing and sourcing activities within a regulated manufacturing environment.
This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for supplier management, strategic sourcing, procurement operations, and supporting cross-functional business initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of procurement professionals.
- Manage supplier relationships, contract negotiations, and sourcing initiatives.
- Oversee RFQs, RFPs, supplier onboarding, and purchasing activities.
- Support capital projects, equipment purchases, and operational needs.
- Partner with Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, Finance, and Operations teams.
- Identify cost savings opportunities and drive continuous improvement efforts.
- Monitor supplier performance and ensure continuity of supply.
Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree
- 5+ years of procurement, sourcing, purchasing, or supply chain experience.
- Previous leadership or people management experience.
- Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment preferred.
- ERP/MRP system experience.
- Strong negotiation, supplier management, and contract management skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
