Hiring: Production Supervisor
Location: Sheboygan, WI
Our client, a leading corrugated packaging manufacturing organization, is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead and develop an operating team while driving improvements across safety, quality, production, people, and processes. This 2nd or 3rd shift role is responsible for overseeing hourly production employees, maintaining safe and efficient operations, minimizing waste, and ensuring quality, on-time production. The successful candidate will provide hands-on leadership on the production floor, establish clear expectations and accountability, and identify opportunities to improve both team and operational performance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead, coach, and develop production employees within a corrugated box manufacturing environment.
* Oversee day-to-day production activities with a strong focus on corrugator and/or converting operations.
* Drive performance across safety, quality, productivity, efficiency, waste reduction, and on-time production.
* Provide hands-on leadership, coaching, feedback, and accountability to frontline employees.
* Manage employee performance, including addressing performance concerns and having difficult conversations when necessary.
* Identify and implement opportunities to improve processes, team performance, and overall production results.
* Partner cross-functionally with plant leadership and other operational teams to address issues and achieve production goals.
Qualifications:
* Corrugated manufacturing experience is required.
* Box plant experience is required, ideally with direct exposure to corrugator and/or converting operations.
* Extensive leadership experience within a manufacturing or production environment.
* Proven ability to coach, develop, and manage frontline production employees.
* Experience managing employee performance and handling challenging employee relations situations.
* Strong commitment to safety, quality, manufacturing excellence, and continuous improvement.
Ability to work 2nd or 3rd shift on a Monday-Friday schedule.
