On behalf of a leading European company in the film space, we are looking for a:
Regional Sales Manager
Reports To: Sales Director
Location: Guangzhou, China
Industry: Specialty Films / Advanced Materials
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement actionable sales strategies in line with overall company and departmental goals; consistently achieve or exceed revenue targets.
- Proactively establish and cultivate long-term customer relationships across target industries, acting as the key point of contact for both technical and commercial discussions.
- Coordinate internal and external resources, ensuring alignment between customer expectations and company capabilities; drive resolution of operational or technical issues to improve customer satisfaction.
- Lead market development efforts by analyzing industry trends, identifying growth areas, and contributing to go-to-market strategies for new and existing products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams-including production, logistics, and technical support-to facilitate seamless execution of customer requirements.
- Provide timely and insightful sales reporting, including performance metrics, competitive intelligence, and market feedback; offer data-driven recommendations to improve strategy.
- Support the Sales Director with ad hoc projects and take on additional assignments as needed to support overall business goals.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Minimum 4 years of experience in sales, business development, or key account management within the food packaging, automotive, or consumer electronics sectors; candidates with an established network in these industries are highly preferred.
- Bachelor's degree required (candidates with relevant associate degrees in areas such as cooking bag packaging or tear film packaging may also be considered).
- Working knowledge of market dynamics and customer expectations within targeted industries.
- Solid written English and basic verbal communication abilities for internal collaboration and client interaction.
- High degree of adaptability, problem-solving acumen, and the ability to think on one's feet-especially in fast-paced, on-site scenarios.
- Strong work ethic, proactive attitude, customer-first mindset, and willingness to go above and beyond to drive client success.
- Able to operate effectively under pressure, manage time independently, and commit to regular business travel as required.
