Regional Sales Manager - Data Center Infrastructure (Remote - Texas)
Overview
We are partnering with a growing electrical infrastructure manufacturer seeking a Regional Sales Manager to drive business development and revenue growth within the rapidly expanding data center market. This role will focus on developing relationships with data center owners, developers, consulting engineers, electrical contractors, and EPC firms while promoting a portfolio of mission-critical power distribution and power quality solutions.
This is an excellent opportunity for a technically minded sales professional with deep industry relationships and a track record of selling electrical equipment into large-scale infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
Territory Development & Business Growth
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan for the Texas data center market.
- Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities with hyperscale, colocation, enterprise, and emerging data center customers.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of projects from specification through award.
Technical Sales & Solution Development
- Support customers in evaluating electrical infrastructure solutions for mission-critical facilities.
- Provide technical guidance on power distribution, power quality, and electrical system applications.
- Work closely with customers to develop solutions aligned with facility requirements and operational goals.
Relationship Management
- Establish and maintain relationships with:
- Data center developers
- Consulting engineers
- Electrical contractors
- EPC/EPCM firms
- Utility and infrastructure stakeholders
- Become a trusted advisor throughout the project lifecycle.
Project Lifecycle Support
- Manage opportunities from early design and specification stages through procurement, installation, and commissioning.
- Coordinate internally to ensure customer requirements, delivery schedules, and technical expectations are met.
Market Intelligence
- Monitor industry trends, competitive activity, project developments, and changing customer requirements.
- Provide insights that help shape commercial strategy and business growth initiatives.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline preferred.
Experience
- 7+ years of technical sales, business development, or account management experience within the electrical power industry.
- Experience selling electrical infrastructure equipment into industrial, utility, mission-critical, or data center markets.
