A global Chemical Manufacturing Company is seeking an Electrical Engineer to add to its Maintenance and Engineering team. The Electrical Engineer should have familiarity with troubleshooting and maintenance support. The Electrical Engineer will also be responsible for resolving complex issues related to plant equipment, systems, and processes to ensure smooth operation of the facility.
Responsibilities of the Electrical Engineer:
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance activities to ensure the reliability and optimal performance of electrical systems, machinery, and control systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, maintenance, and process engineering, to identify and address electrical engineering challenges and develop effective solutions.
- Analyze and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and specifications to identify faults and malfunctions.
- Assist in the planning and execution of electrical projects, including upgrades, installations, and modifications.
- Ensure compliance with relevant safety regulations and industry standards.
Requirements of the Electrical Engineer:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in the chemical industry or a similar manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical issues and performing root cause analysis.
- Familiarity with relevant industry standards and safety regulations.
- Experience working with PLCs and DCS'
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
