Introduction
We are looking for a Global Category Manager to join our client, a global pharmaceuticals organisation based in Frankfurt, Germany. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the procurement of lab equipment for the company's global operations.
Responsibilities
The Global Category Manager will be responsible for the following:
- Developing and implementing global procurement strategies for lab equipment and MRO Categories
- Managing supplier relationships and negotiating contracts
- Identifying cost saving opportunities
- Ensuring that procurement activities comply with company policies and regulations
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure that procurement activities are aligned with business objectives
- Managing a team of procurement professionals
