Key responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies, planning, and supplier management in close collaboration with business area managers to optimise value for money and achieve the best Levelized Cost of Electricity (LCOEs).
- Strategically manage suppliers to create added value, including the development and implementation of supplier engagement plans, identification of new suppliers aligned with business strategy, and fostering supplier-based innovations and partnerships.
- Take responsibility for strategic tenders, encompassing specific tender strategies, supplier selection, negotiation, and implementation of various contracts, such as EPC contracts, PV modules, electrical components, grid connection, and framework contracts for services.
- Serve as the Project Procurement Lead (PPL) acting as the main contact in company projects for all procurement-related topics, collaborating closely with other procurement functions.
- Drive specific initiatives with business areas (e.g., sustainability, innovation, safety, cost awareness) and leverage external networks to develop new solutions for the company's business areas.
Your Profile:
- University education in engineering, business administration, economics, or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in procurement for solar projects, with a proven track record of managing large procurement projects in the solar sector, either EPC or on a lot basis for components and services.
- Ability to interact convincingly with diverse stakeholders, managing conflicting requirements or cross-functional overlaps.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate business requirements into procurement and supplier management requirements.
- Excellent communication skills, project management skills, and the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders.
- International work experience, understanding of cultural differences, and willingness to travel internationally.
- Fluent English communication skills required; knowledge of other languages would be an advantage.
