Overview
An advanced semiconductor organization is expanding its AI product line and is seeking a Staff Procurement Manager to join its Shanghai team. This role will play a critical part in driving procurement strategy and outsourcing management to support high-growth AI-related initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead outsourcing and supplier management activities for AI-related product lines, ensuring cost competitiveness, scalability, and supply continuity
- Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with business growth and technology roadmap
- Drive cost modelling and should-cost analysis, identifying cost optimization opportunities across the supply base
- Partner closely with cross-functional teams (R&D, engineering, operations, finance) to support product development and sourcing decisions
- Evaluate supplier capabilities, negotiate commercial terms, and manage supplier performance
- Conduct data-driven analysis to inform sourcing strategies, benchmarking, and decision-making
- Ensure strong compliance with procurement processes, policies, and governance standards
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or related field
- Proven experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management, ideally within semiconductor, electronics, or high-tech industries
- Strong cost modelling / should-cost analysis experience is essential
- Demonstrated capability in outsourcing management and supplier strategy execution
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Solid understanding of procurement fundamentals, including negotiations, supplier management, and contract management
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills in a cross-functional environment
- Fluency in English; Mandarin is highly preferred

- Exposure to global supply chains and multi-site operations
