Location: Middlesex County, NJ
Salary: $50,000 - $65,000
Company Profile: A leading consumer products manufacturer is looking for an Assistant Buyer who will support the Senior Buyer and cross-functional teams. This role will be responsible for supporting communication with the vendors, warehousing, and logistics teams. You will also be responsible for managing the website & digital content as well as the E-commerce support for one of their biggest wholesalers. The Assistant Buyer Will be Responsible for the Following:
- Track and update all product development tasks
- Follow up with in-house R&D and external app development teams for accurate timelines
- Review the website weekly and follow up with developers
- Update sales forecasting sheets monthly with recent data to support planning
- Enter and track POs, IRs, and RTVs in systems
- Communicate with vendors, the warehouse team, and logistics to resolve product or shipment issues
The Assistant Buyer Should have the Following Qualifications:
- Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office products
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Understanding of inventory management using online marketplaces and channels (Amazon is a PLUS)
- Ability to use software for product listing edits if needed
This is a full time 5x onsite position primarily based in Middlesex County, NJ.
