Overview

Location: U.S. -California, Florida, Chicago, Houston Preferred
Compensation: $180,000-$200,000 annual Base Salary

Role Overview

This position is responsible for establishing and scaling a new U.S. presence for a global power‑equipment manufacturer. The focus is on building a nationwide distribution network for small-capacity diesel and gas generator solutions (<200 kVA) across commercial, industrial, and residential markets.

The ideal candidate will develop market strategy, strengthen channel partnerships, build teams, drive revenue growth, and oversee supply chain, inventory, and product support operations.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead market‑entry and expansion strategy for the organization's generator product line.
  • Build and manage a U.S. distribution and channel network from the ground up.
  • Establish regional sales teams, service infrastructure, and operational processes.
  • Manage inventory planning, logistics, warehousing locations, and supply chain efficiency.
  • Develop relationships with distributors, EPC contractors, electrical contractors, agents, and commercial/residential developers.
  • Drive revenue growth, market penetration, and long‑term business development initiatives.
  • Provide insights on competitor activity, pricing, demand trends, and market opportunities.
  • Lead contract negotiations, partnership agreements, and strategic customer engagements.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, industry forums, and major business events.
  • Ensure compliance with U.S. regulatory standards including emissions and safety requirements.

Desired Profile

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred
  • MBA or advanced business degree is a plus

Experience

  • 15-20+ years in power generation, electrical equipment, energy systems, or industrial machinery
  • Proven senior leadership experience in sales, distribution development, and market expansion
  • Strong background in building partner ecosystems and managing regional sales teams

Additional Requirements

  • Strong network across U.S. power generation and equipment distribution sectors
  • Knowledge of U.S. regulatory and compliance frameworks (EPA emissions, OSHA requirements)
  • Experience with CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.)
  • P&L management experience
  • U.S. work authorization (citizen or green card holder)
  • Ability to travel extensively
