We are supporting a leader in the Manufacturing space on their search for a Telecommunications Sales Director with direct experience selling cabinets, enclosures, small cell infrastructure, and telecom power systems into Tier 1 wireless carriers. This role is designed for a senior, carrier-facing sales leader who can drive national programs, influence network architecture decisions, and scale revenue across large carrier organizations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and grow the Tier 1 carrier sales book, with full accountability for revenue, margin, and long-term account strategy
  • Lead strategic, relationship-driven sales with national wireless carriers across engineering, network planning, sourcing, and deployment teams
  • Sell telecom cabinets, enclosures, small cell infrastructure, and power solutions supporting macro, small cell, DAS, and edge deployments
  • Drive carrier-approved product programs, network standardization initiatives, and large-scale deployment awards
  • Serve as the primary commercial interface for assigned Tier 1 carriers, managing opportunities from early design influence through national rollout
  • Influence specifications and approvals to position solutions within carrier standards and preferred vendor lists
  • Support high-volume, multi-market deployment programs tied to 5G densification, network modernization, and capacity expansion
  • Collaborate closely with internal engineering, product management, and operations to align offerings with carrier technical and operational requirements
  • Build and manage a disciplined pipeline and forecast aligned to carrier budgets, deployment plans, and long-term network roadmaps
  • Travel frequently to carrier offices, network planning sessions, and deployment discussions across assigned regions

Required Qualifications

  • 5-8 years of direct sales experience supporting Tier 1 wireless carriers
  • Proven track record selling telecom infrastructure equipment such as cabinets, enclosures, small cells, or telecom power systems
  • Demonstrated experience navigating complex carrier organizations and multi-stakeholder buying processes
  • Strong understanding of carrier network deployment cycles, approval processes, and sourcing models
  • Experience supporting national or multi-market rollout programs
  • Highly self-directed, strategic mindset with the ability to build and scale carrier relationships from design influence to deployment
  • Willingness to support extensive travel in support of carrier accounts and national programs
