Production Engineer II
The Production Engineer plays a key role in supporting daily plant operations, driving process improvements, and ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant manufacturing. This role works closely with operations, maintenance, and quality teams to troubleshoot issues, implement solutions, and support long-term strategic initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor production processes to ensure optimal performance, safety, and product quality.
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase throughput, reduce waste, and lower operating costs.
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for process deviations and equipment failures.
- Collaborate with EHS teams to maintain compliance with environmental and safety regulations.
- Support capital projects, including equipment specification, installation, and commissioning.
- Develop and maintain process documentation, SOPs, and training materials.
- Analyze production data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Provide technical support for new product introductions and scale-up activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- 3 plus years of experience in a manufacturing or chemical processing environment.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills; experience with Six Sigma or Lean tools is a plus.
- Proficiency in process control systems and data analysis tools.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
