Responsibilities
- Lead global cross-functional teams to develop sourcing strategies for battery cells and battery packs
- Drive end-to-end strategic sourcing, including RFx execution and supplier selection
- Lead supplier negotiations to secure optimal pricing and commercial terms
- Deliver cost savings and value engineering initiatives across key categories
- Build and manage strategic supplier relationships to drive performance and innovation
- Partner with internal stakeholders and manage contracts, spend analysis, and forecasting
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain, operations, or related field
- Minimum 5+ years in a dedicated procurement / strategic sourcing role
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or related discipline
- Proven success in category strategy, supplier negotiations, and cost reduction
- Strong experience working in a global, fast-paced environment
- Excellent analytical and financial acumen
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely
- No work permit sponsorship available
- Experience supporting battery, electronics, or power system categories
- Certifications such as CPSM, MCIPS, CPM, or PMP
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and build relationships
- Proven team player with a collaborative mindset across cross-functional groups
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
