A fantastic multichannel leading Retailer is now looking to hire a New Senior Transportation Analyst (Newly Created position due to Growth!) to help grow, evolve, and transform their high-performing Logistics & Transportation team. The successful individual will help provide root cause analysis & solutions in support of trend variances within the industry. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, manage and coach 1 direct report (Analyst)
- Oversee performance and delivery for key core Transportation Carrier partners including UPS, FedEx, USPS, and others
- Manage the development, upkeep, and improvement of Transportation performance metrics and reporting tools for the supply chain organization, with a strong focus on parcel shipping operations.
- Investigate unusual data shifts, determine underlying causes, and present clear recommendations to senior leadership.
- Safeguard the accuracy and consistency of operational data while proposing methods to strengthen long‑term data reliability.
- Build and maintain productive partnerships across internal & external stakeholders, especially those in analytics and finance.
- Oversee and enhance the end‑to‑end claims workflow for both e‑commerce shipments and store‑bound deliveries.
The successful candidate will ideally have:
- 4+yrs experience in Logistics and Transportation from Retail
- Experience with Parcel operations within Logistics & Supply Chain.
- Bachelor's degree (ideally in an analytical subject)
- Experience making data-driven decisions to maximize profitability
