Summary:
A fast‑growing organization in the medical technology sector is seeking a Supply Chain Buyer to help maintain a reliable, efficient, and well‑coordinated supply chain. This role supports the production of high‑quality devices designed to improve patient care, and requires someone who excels at both analytical problem‑solving and cross‑functional collaboration.
You will work closely with internal teams and external manufacturing partners to strengthen supplier relationships, support cost‑optimization efforts, and ensure that materials arrive on time and to specification. This is an opportunity to play a key part in a mission‑driven environment focused on operational excellence and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Review purchase needs, coordinate with manufacturing partners, and ensure materials are delivered on time and in full.
- Communicate regularly with suppliers regarding schedules, changes, and issue resolution, including delivery delays, quantity discrepancies, invoice issues, and material quality concerns.
- Collaborate with Planning, Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, and Accounts Payable teams to support commercial requirements and resolve process discrepancies.
- Contribute to process improvements, inventory‑control enhancements, and the development of purchasing best practices.
- Provide informal guidance and support to team members when needed.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain operations.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong organizational abilities and comfort working independently.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- High proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel), with strong analytical and problem‑solving capability.
- Strong project‑management skills, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset.
