Maintenance Mechanic
Location: Tumwater, WA
Shift: Rotating 2 days on, 3 days off, 2 days on (night shift).
Local candidates only.
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Mechanic to join our Tumwater, WA production facility. This role will support manufacturing operations by ensuring the ongoing maintenance and repair of critical production equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background, experience working in manufacturing environments, and flexibility to support production demands.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine and reactive maintenance on manufacturing equipment including conveyors, pumps, and production lines.
Conduct mechanical repairs and installations, including welding and fabrication as needed.
Troubleshoot mechanical failures and support root cause analysis for recurring issues.
Support facilities maintenance tasks as assigned.
Collaborate closely with operations, quality control, and warehouse teams to minimize downtime and ensure smooth production flow.
Accurately document maintenance activities and maintain CMMS records.
Qualifications:
2+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
High school diploma or GED required.
Hands-on experience with conveyors, pumps, welding, and general mechanical troubleshooting.
Flexibility to work rotating night shift schedule and occasional overtime as needed.
Safety-first mindset and ability to work independently or in a team environment.
