Production Manager
Job Summary:
The Production Manager oversees daily operations within the pharmaceutical manufacturing facility, ensuring that production targets are met while maintaining strict compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., FDA, GMP). This role is responsible for managing production schedules, optimizing resource utilization, leading cross-functional teams, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to ensure product quality, safety, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise all production activities to meet output and quality goals.
- Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), safety regulations, and company policies.
- Collaborate with Quality Assurance, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to resolve production issues and improve processes.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Lead, train, and develop production staff to foster a high-performance culture.
- Manage inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods to support production needs.
- Participate in audits and inspections, ensuring readiness and adherence to regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in pharmaceutical or biotech manufacturing, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of GMP, FDA regulations, and pharmaceutical production processes.
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
