Position Overview

A global leader in advanced manufacturing is seeking a Quality Engineer to support its operations in producing high-performance components for aerospace, energy, and industrial applications. With a strong commitment to precision, reliability, and continuous improvement, the company offers a dynamic environment where quality professionals can make a meaningful impact.

This role is responsible for maintaining and enhancing the Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring compliance with industry standards, and driving cross-functional quality initiatives. The position reports directly to the Quality Manager.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain QMS policies and procedures to ensure compliance and effectiveness.
  • Monitor quality processes using statistical methods and team collaboration; recommend improvements.
  • Conduct audits to identify deficiencies and ensure corrective actions meet reliability and documentation standards.
  • Lead quality improvement efforts across departments and functions.
  • Manage corrective actions with root cause analysis, performance metrics, and closure reporting.
  • Serve as the primary contact for internal and external quality-related matters.
  • Support customer and third-party audits (e.g., AS9100) and prepare audit documentation.
  • Train team members on product conformity and quality practices.
  • Apply continuous improvement methodologies to enhance operational performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to uphold quality standards.
  • Perform special projects and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Proficient in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
  • Skilled in using inspection tools such as micrometers, height gauges, bore gauges, and profilometers.
  • Strong understanding of ISO and AS9100 quality standards.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Capable of managing projects and using KPIs to drive results.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical abilities.
  • Minimum 4 years in manufacturing quality roles (preferably in aerospace).
  • Bachelors degree in Engineerug or related field.
