About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Solutions Sales Manager with deep knowledge of the governance, defense, and security sectors. In this role, you will drive solution-based sales across strategic accounts, shaping how clients adopt complex, mission‑critical solutions within the public-sector and defense environment.
This is a senior commercial position focused on consultative selling, stakeholder engagement, and strategic account expansion across Benelux region.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Selling & Market Engagement
- Lead end-to-end solution sales cycles, from prospecting to closing, within the governance and defense industries.
- Identify customer challenges and translate them into tailored solution proposals.
- Conduct in-depth needs analysis and develop customer-specific strategies aligned to sector regulations and security frameworks.
- Maintain a strong understanding of geopolitical, compliance, and regulatory trends impacting the sector.
Account & Stakeholder Management
- Manage and expand a portfolio of strategic accounts across Germany and the Netherlands.
- Engage with senior-level stakeholders, procurement bodies, and technical decision-makers.
- Build trusted advisory relationships, enabling long‑term account growth.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with technical, product, and governance teams to ensure solutions meet client requirements.
- Collaborate with internal sales colleagues within the same vertical to share knowledge, align pipelines, and strengthen market presence.
Commercial Impact
- Achieve and exceed sales targets for the region, contributing to the vertical's overall revenue goals.
- Develop long-term sales strategies to support market expansion and additional capacity needs in the team.
Qualifications & Experience
- Approximately 10 years of experience in B2B solution selling, ideally within governance, defense, security, or public-sector technology environments.
- Strong understanding of compliance, public procurement, and industry-specific frameworks.
- Demonstrated ability to sell complex, multi-stakeholder solutions.
- Experience building and executing sales strategies in international markets.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding commercial targets.
