About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Commercial Controller to oversee financial & commercial performance, pricing strategy, and margin management across the business. This role partners closely with Sales, Supply Chain, and Operations to ensure profitable growth and data-driven decision making.
The ideal candidate is analytically strong, business-focused, and confident translating financial insights into commercial actions.
Key Responsibilities
Commercial Performance & Reporting
- Prepare and analyse monthly commercial performance dashboards.
- Monitor revenue, margins, discounts, and customer profitability.
- Support the budget and forecast process across all commercial channels.
Pricing & Margin Management
- Develop and maintain pricing models, discount structures, and promotional costings.
- Partner with Sales on pricing proposals, tender inputs, and contract evaluations.
- Perform scenario analysis on pricing, volume, and cost developments.
Business Partnering
- Advise sales teams on commercial opportunities and risks.
- Provide financial insights during customer negotiations and business planning.
- Collaborate with Operations on cost-to-serve analysis and supply chain optimisation.
Process & Data Excellence
- Ensure data accuracy within ERP, CRM, and financial systems.
- Strengthen internal controls linked to commercial processes.
- Identify and implement improvements in reporting efficiency and transparency.
Qualifications & Experience
- 4-6 years in commercial controlling, business analysis, or financial planning.
- Experience in FMCG, manufacturing, distribution, or a similar product-driven environment is beneficial.
- Strong analytical and modelling skills (Excel required; Power BI is a plus).
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally with commercial teams.
