Director, Talent, Learning & Organizational Development
Position Overview
The Director, Talent, Learning & Organizational Development will lead the design and execution of talent management, performance, leadership development, succession planning, and learning strategies that support growth and business objectives. This role partners closely with business leaders to build scalable talent programs that enhance organizational effectiveness, leadership capability, employee development, and engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the talent lifecycle, including performance management, talent reviews, succession planning, and employee development.
- Design and manage performance management processes, including goal setting, check-ins, and annual reviews.
- Lead talent assessment, succession planning, and high-potential development programs.
- Develop leadership and manager training initiatives to strengthen organizational capability.
- Partner with HR and business leaders to identify skill gaps, workforce needs, and organizational development opportunities.
- Create and manage enterprise learning programs, LMS platforms, and digital learning solutions.
- Measure program effectiveness through talent metrics, analytics, and employee feedback.
- Oversee early career programs, including internships and co-op initiatives.
- Lead change management efforts and support organizational transformation initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Development, Psychology, or a related field.
- 8-10+ years of progressive HR experience with significant focus in Talent Management, Learning & Development, and/or Organizational Development.
- Experience building and scaling talent, leadership development, and learning programs.
- Strong background in performance management, succession planning, and leadership development.
- Proven change management, program management, and stakeholder engagement experience.
- Strong business acumen, analytical skills, and ability to translate business needs into talent strategies.
- Experience with learning platforms, LMS systems, and digital learning tools.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills.
