Company Summary:

A large, well-established manufacturing operation in the consumer products sector is seeking an Electrical Project Manager to join its engineering team. This facility is one of the region's major employers and operates on an expansive campus producing high-volume essential goods. With recent significant capital investments, the site continues to modernize its processes and expand production capabilities. This is an opportunity to work on impactful electrical projects in a highly collaborative and technically driven environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a culture of safety, performance, and continuous improvement across engineering and operations teams
  • Manage end-to-end execution of electrical capital and expense projects from design through commissioning and closeout
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external contractors to deliver projects aligned with business and technical goals
  • Develop and review project scopes, budgets, schedules, and electrical designs to ensure compliance, reliability, and efficiency
  • Oversee installation, startup, troubleshooting, and documentation while driving cost optimization and technical capability improvements

Requirements:

  • Experience in electrical engineering within manufacturing or industrial environments
  • Proven project management experience delivering technical projects
  • Knowledge of motor control systems such as VFDs, PWM controllers, or similar technologies
  • Experience working with electrical power distribution systems

Preferred Skills/Abilities:

  • Familiarity with electrical design tools such as AutoCAD, EPLAN, or SolidWorks Electrical
  • Experience with control systems, instrumentation, piping, and valve integration
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
