We are partnering with an international manufacturing business to appoint a Head of Supply Chain Management. This is a business-critical leadership role with immediate impact, supporting both operational performance and ongoing organisational transformation.
The Role
Reporting to the Chief Supply Chain & Strategy Officer, you will lead the end-to-end supply chain (excluding procurement) across multiple international sites.
Key responsibilities:
- Ownership of production planning, inventory management, and logistics
- Leading a team of ~30 FTEs across Germany and international locations
- Driving the shift towards a more centralised, matrix-led supply chain structure
- Building and embedding a Supply Chain Excellence function
- Aligning processes and improving performance across sites
- Leading change, transformation, and digitalisation initiatives
- Acting as a key interface to senior leadership
Candidate Profile
- Proven leadership experience within supply chain in a manufacturing environment
- Strong expertise across planning, inventory, and logistics
- Ability to operate both strategically and hands-on
- Track record in change management and organisational transformation
- Analytical, process-driven mindset
- Exposure to systems / digitalisation initiatives
- Fluent German and English
