Position Overview
The HR / Talent Acquisition Manager will play a pivotal role in building and optimizing people operations. This individual will lead recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, and HR compliance initiatives. The ideal candidate is both strategic and hands-on, with experience in high-growth environments and a passion for wellness and team development.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition & Recruitment
- Design and implement hiring strategies across multiple departments including operations, marketing, regulatory, and customer experience.
- Manage the full-cycle recruitment process from sourcing to onboarding.
- Build a strong employer brand and maintain a proactive talent pipeline.
Onboarding & Employee Experience
- Develop and manage a structured onboarding program.
- Ensure new hires are effectively integrated into the team and culture.
HR Operations & Compliance
- Maintain and update HR policies and documentation in accordance with U.S. labor laws.
- Support benefits administration, payroll coordination, and leave management.
- Ensure accurate and confidential employee recordkeeping.
Culture & Engagement
- Champion a positive, inclusive, and high-performance culture.
- Lead employee engagement initiatives and wellness programs.
- Act as a trusted resource for employee relations and feedback.
Performance & Development
- Support performance review cycles and goal-setting processes.
- Identify training needs and coordinate development programs.
Strategic HR Support
- Partner with leadership to align HR initiatives with business goals.
- Use HR metrics to inform decisions and drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
Experience
- 5+ years in HR and talent acquisition, ideally in consumer goods, wellness, or retail.
- Experience scaling HR functions in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
Skills
- Strong understanding of U.S. employment law and HR best practices.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with HRIS, ATS platforms, and productivity tools.
- Passion for wellness and building a strong, values-aligned team culture.
