Logistics Manager
We are seeking a highly organized and safety-conscious Logistics Manager to oversee the transportation, warehousing, and distribution of chemical products. This role is critical in ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, optimizing logistics operations, and maintaining the integrity of hazardous and non-hazardous materials throughout the supply chain.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement logistics strategies to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of chemical products.
- Manage inbound and outbound transportation, including bulk and packaged chemicals.
- Ensure all logistics activities comply with local, national, and international regulations (e.g., DOT, OSHA, EPA, ADR, IMDG).
- Maintain documentation and procedures for handling hazardous materials (HAZMAT).
- Select, negotiate, and manage relationships with carriers, freight forwarders, and third-party logistics providers.
- Monitor carrier performance and resolve service issues.
