Maintenance Coordinator
Contribute to the overall success of the facility and its maintenance objectives by leading the 2nd Shift maintenance team. This role is responsible for overseeing maintenance repairs, delivering technical support, and coordinating all maintenance activities. The position reports to the Maintenance and Plant Facilities Manager and works closely with production management and Engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all scheduled and unscheduled equipment repair tasks are completed accurately and on time.
- Coordinate and prioritize daily assignments for 2nd Shift Process Technicians.
- Ensure maintenance resources are effectively allocated to support operational needs.
- Plan and execute daily maintenance activities based on production demands and workload requirements.
- Provide technical guidance and support to production management.
- Assist in the training and professional development of Process Technicians.
Qualifications
- Minimum of five years of maintenance experience
- Previous leadership, management, or supervisory experience
- Experience in seafood processing or food and beverage manufacturing strongly preferred
- Experience with a CMMS system preferred
- Electrical or controls experience a plus
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams
- Proficient computer skills
