Maintenance Manager
Overview:
A leading food and beverage manufacturing company is seeking a Maintenance Manager to oversee plant maintenance operations. This role is critical to ensuring equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and supporting production efficiency. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader with strong technical expertise and a strategic mindset for managing maintenance programs and capital projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure timely and effective maintenance of processing, packaging, and facility equipment to reduce production downtime.
- Lead and supervise skilled maintenance personnel, assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and inspecting completed work.
- Collaborate on planning and execution of maintenance budgets, including capital and extraordinary maintenance projects.
- Foster a culture of safety, productivity, and quality through effective team leadership and operational oversight.
- Support and promote food safety and quality assurance initiatives throughout the facility.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facility Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in maintenance management within a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- Strong knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance strategies.
- Familiarity with fiscal budgeting and project management.
- Working knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Experience with food processing and packaging equipment preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
- Strong organizational, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with proven leadership experience.
