The Materials Management Expert will be responsible for:
- Leading and overseeing supply chain operations, ensuring alignment with global strategies and regional business goals.
- Driving operational excellence in demand planning, supply planning, and procurement processes.
- Ensuring high-quality data governance, including the generation, validation, and maintenance of master data and planning parameters.
- Managing the integration and transition of systems to future platforms such as S4/HANA
- Acting as a key liaison between operational teams and senior management, providing insights into inventory health and leading root cause analyses.
- Supporting and leading cross-functional projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery and measurable outcomes.
- Serving as a key user and subject matter expert for ERP systems (SAP MM) and reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, GCP).
- Acting as a deputy to the operations manager, ensuring business continuity and strategic alignment.
The Materials Management Expert should have the following qualifications:
- Professional experience in demand planning, supply planning, or operational procurement.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Access, including VBA scripting and Power Query.
- Strong ERP knowledge, preferably SAP MM, with experience in system transitions (e.g., S4/HANA).
- Proficiency in reporting and data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or GCP.
- A structured, detail-oriented, and reliable approach to work, with the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
- A proactive mindset with a high level of personal responsibility and a commitment to continuous improvement.
