Supply Chain Planning Manager
Location: Huntsville, Alabama (On‑Site)
Compensation: $100,000-$125,000 base salary
About the Role
A growing manufacturing organization in Huntsville is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Planning Manager to lead its end‑to‑end planning function. This is a leadership role overseeing a team and driving forecasting, production planning, inventory optimization, and S&OP integration.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of supply chain planners and analysts.
- Oversee demand, supply, and production planning to ensure service levels, cost targets, and operational goals are met.
- Manage inventory strategy, safety stock levels, and capacity planning.
- Drive continuous improvement within the planning process and support S&OP cycles.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with procurement, manufacturing, finance, and operations.
- Leverage Oracle ERP and planning tools to execute and enhance planning workflows.
- Provide KPI reporting, data insights, and process recommendations to senior leadership.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required (Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field preferred).
- 6-8 years of supply chain planning experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Prior experience managing direct reports is required.
- Strong proficiency with Oracle ERP / planning systems.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work on‑site full‑time in Huntsville, AL.
