Title: MERCHANDISE PLANNER

Location: NYC (4-5 times in office/week)

Salary range: $90-95,000


About This Opportunity ….
A wholesale apparel client is looking for a Merchandise Planner to join their team to onboard and manage planning for new retail accounts.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Forecast sales performance and inventory reports, work with replenishment counterpart to maximize.
  • Onboard new retailers to the business and work with them closely.
  • Review and adjust seasonal ladder plans.
  • Advise on business strategy and growth/risk opportunities using historical trend data.
  • Create assortment and production plans per store by style, color and size.
  • Leverage data visualization software and present to leadership.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years apparel Merchandise Planning experience
  • Experience with a variety of big box or department store retailers, including onboarding new retailers.
  • Ability to partner/communicate with cross-functional teams (replenishment, production, etc)
  • Highly proficient in Excel and data visualization tools like PowerBi, Tableau, etc.
    • Retail Link, Simparel, Adobe Illustrator, SQL knowledge is a plus
  • Strong retail math skills
  • Ability to present reports to senior leadership, strong communication skills
  • 4-year college degree (required)
