Process Engineer (Dairy)

We are partnering with a leading high-volume food & beverage manufacturer seeking an Aseptic Process Engineer to support and optimize liquid processing operations within a large-scale manufacturing environment.

This role is focused on true ownership of aseptic systems, driving performance, reliability, and product quality across sterile processing and packaging lines.

As the Process Engineer you will...

  • Own and optimize aseptic processing systems (UHT, HTST, ESL) across production lines
  • Troubleshoot and improve line performance, throughput, and product quality
  • Support design and implementation of new processes and equipment for aseptic products
  • Lead and contribute to capital projects (equipment upgrades, line expansions, automation)
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and regulatory standards (SQF/FDA)
  • Partner cross-functionally with Operations, QA, Maintenance, and Engineering
  • Analyze existing systems and drive continuous improvement initiatives

As the Process Engineer you should have...

  • 5-10+ years of experience in food, dairy, or beverage manufacturing
  • Hands-on experience with aseptic processing systems (UHT/HTST/ESL)
  • Strong understanding of CIP/SIP, hygienic design, and food safety principles
  • Experience improving line efficiency, reliability, and process performance
  • Exposure to capital projects and equipment integration ($1MM+ preferred)
  • Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment

It would be nice if the Process Engineer had...

  • Background in dairy, beverage, or liquid processing manufacturing
  • Experience with aseptic filling/packaging systems (Tetra Pak, SIG, etc.)
  • Knowledge of extended shelf-life (ESL), hot fill, or ultra-clean systems
