Job Title: Process Engineer
Location: Newport News, VA
Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 + 5% bonus
Summary:
A reputable food manufacturing company is seeking an experienced, hands-on Process Engineer for their Newport News, VA facility.
Responsibilities:
The ideal Process Engineer will have the following responsibilities:
- Adhere to all safety regulations, departmental requirements, and company policies while maintaining reliable attendance and supporting occasional overtime as needed
- Develop, troubleshoot, and optimize processes for production and developmental castings, ensuring robust performance and quality
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives through strong analytical problem‑solving, statistical analysis, and root‑cause investigation
- Provide technical support to customers, addressing concerns clearly and professionally while collaborating across internal teams
- Communicate effectively at all organizational levels, document technical work, and act as an influential engineer with emerging leadership capability and advancement potential
Qualifications
The ideal Process Engineer will have the following skill set:
- B.S. degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Aerospace Engineering
- High interest in a manufacturing environment
- High interest in a hands-on role
- Must be A US Citizen
