One of the world's most respected companies in the printing and packaging manufacturing industry is seeking an experienced, hands-on Process Engineer located in the Greater Philadelphia area.
The Process Engineer will be responsible for…
- Provide cross-functional engineering support to Technical Services, Production, Graphics Engineering, Project Management, Quality Assurance, and Customers.
- Drive continuous improvement in manufacturing methods, product design, material efficiency, tooling, and equipment capabilities.
- Develop, configure, and optimize print and converting processes from concept through customer application.
- Use data-driven analysis to identify process gaps, implement corrective actions, and ensure timely resolution.
- Lead Lean improvement initiatives, process control development, and training on new technologies and methodologies.
The Process Engineer should have the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
- Experience in graphics, flexographic, rotogravure, or lithographic printing
- Working knowledge of process engineering software packages
- Experience leading technical resources to successfully maintain production line equipment to achieve high levels of productivity
- 4+ years of experience as a process engineer or manufacturing engineer in a printing, manufacturing, or packaging environment
