Compensation: $80,000-$90,000 base salary
Summary
A leading manufacturing company in Denver, NC is seeking a Procurement Manager to oversee purchasing, supplier management, and cost‑effective sourcing activities. This role will ensure reliable material availability for production, drive cost savings, and strengthen supplier partnerships to support operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Manage the full procurement lifecycle, including sourcing, purchasing, and supplier performance.
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies to support production needs and cost targets.
- Lead negotiations for pricing, contracts, and long‑term supplier agreements.
- Monitor supplier performance regarding quality, delivery, and cost compliance.
- Maintain accurate purchase orders, pricing, and material data within the ERP system.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, operations, and finance to ensure material availability.
- Identify cost‑reduction opportunities through competitive sourcing and value engineering.
- Resolve supplier issues related to delivery, quality, or capacity constraints.
- Track and report procurement KPIs such as cost savings, OTIF, and inventory impact.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and safety requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or related field (preferred).
- 3-5+ years of procurement experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship skills.
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to evaluate cost drivers and supplier performance.
- Excellent communication and cross‑functional collaboration abilities.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced production environment.
