Production Manager
Position Overview:
The Production Manager oversees day‑to‑day manufacturing operations within a GMP‑regulated pharmaceutical facility. This role ensures safe, compliant, and efficient production of drug products while leading teams, optimizing processes, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise production teams to meet daily manufacturing schedules and quality standards.
- Ensure full compliance with cGMP, FDA, and other regulatory requirements across all production activities.
- Monitor manufacturing performance, troubleshoot issues, and drive operational improvements.
- Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Validation teams to resolve deviations and support batch release.
- Oversee training, development, and performance of production staff.
- Maintain accurate production documentation, batch records, and SOPs.
- Support audits, inspections, and cross‑functional projects, including new equipment or process introductions.
- Champion safety and housekeeping practices within the production environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, or related field.
- 5-8+ years of pharmaceutical manufacturing experience, including leadership roles.
- Strong understanding of cGMP, FDA regulations, and batch manufacturing processes.
- Proven leadership, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
- Experience with sterile, oral solid dose, biologics, or other specialized manufacturing processes preferred.
