Role Summary

This company is along‑established manufacturer looking for a Production Scheduler who will develop and manage production schedules to ensure on-time delivery, efficient workflow, and alignment with inventory and financial targets. This role will partner closely with Sales, Operations, and Customer Service to balance demand, capacity, and resources across multiple product lines. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, problem solver, and have an deep understand of manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and refine product forecasts using historical data and statistical methods.
  • Create production plans based on customer orders, forecast data, and manufacturing capacity.
  • Develop daily and weekly production schedules and adjust as needed in coordination with Operations teams.
  • Set and maintain planning parameters such as lead times and safety stock levels within the ERP system.
  • Monitor inventory targets and align production plans to support business goals.
  • Provide reporting on forecasts, production plans, and scheduling performance.
  • Support improvements to forecasting, order management, and scheduling processes.
  • Manage multiple production schedules simultaneously.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in manufacturing, business administration, supply chain, or a related technical field.
  • 3+ years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles (preferred).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with ERP systems.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
