Compensation: $60,000 - $110,000 (based on experience)
Summary
My client is a fast-growing startup in the telecommunications space, known for its innovative approach to infrastructure and power systems. As they continue to scale operations, they are seeking a Purchasing Manager to lead procurement strategy, vendor management, and supply chain optimization.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement purchasing strategies aligned with company goals
- Source, negotiate, and manage relationships with suppliers and vendors
- Monitor inventory levels and forecast demand to ensure timely procurement
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and finance teams to align purchasing with project timelines
- Evaluate supplier performance and ensure compliance with quality standards
- Manage purchase orders, contracts, and documentation in ERP systems
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and drive continuous improvement in procurement processes
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably in telecom, manufacturing, or infrastructure sectors
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills
- Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment
- Experience with telecom or electrical components is a plus
