Regional Sales Manager - Heat Transfer
Position Overview
A leading manufacturer in the industrial equipment sector is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to oversee sales efforts for its refrigeration and heat transfer product lines. This role is responsible for managing direct sales and supporting dealer relationships within a designated territory. The ideal candidate will bring a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to manage complex sales cycles.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive revenue growth and meet profitability targets within the assigned region.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and channel partners.
- Provide product training and technical support to dealers and end users.
- Evaluate customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions based on system requirements and application suitability.
- Deliver technical presentations and negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules.
- Analyze dealer and customer performance to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve service and warranty issues.
- Contribute to annual sales planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities.
- Support marketing efforts including trade shows, promotional campaigns, and advertising strategies.
- Occasionally assist with equipment servicing and field support.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, agriculture, business, or a related field preferred. Equivalent experience with strong technical aptitude will be considered.
- Background in refrigeration systems or heat transfer applications is highly desirable.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel extensively, including internationally.
