Senior Account Manager
Job Summary:
The Senior Account Manager is responsible for managing and growing key customer relationships within the chemical manufacturing sector. This role involves strategic account planning, contract negotiation, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure customer satisfaction and revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have deep industry knowledge, strong commercial acumen, and a proven track record in B2B sales and account management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic account plans for high-value clients in the chemical industry.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, ensuring exceptional service and responsiveness.
- Identify growth opportunities within existing accounts and lead efforts to expand product offerings.
- Collaborate with internal teams (R&D, supply chain, production) to meet customer needs and resolve issues.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements in alignment with company goals.
- Monitor market trends and customer feedback to inform product development and sales strategies.
- Prepare regular reports on account performance, forecasts, and pipeline activity.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Business, or related field; MBA preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in account management or sales within chemical manufacturing or a related industry.
- Strong understanding of chemical products, applications, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and data analysis.
