Are you a seasoned procurement professional ready to lead strategic sourcing initiatives in a dynamic, fast-paced industrial environment? We're seeking a Senior Buyer to manage high-impact purchasing programs across capital equipment, construction, and company-wide vendor relationships.
What You'll Do:
- Lead negotiation and administration of contracts for capital equipment, engineering services, and construction projects.
- Develop and manage strategic supplier relationships to support operational excellence and cost efficiency.
- Conduct market research, vendor evaluations, and needs assessments to identify sourcing opportunities.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, production, and technology teams to align procurement strategies with business goals.
- Provide training and support on procurement policies and contract usage across the organization.
- Serve as a key contributor to a centralized purchasing team, driving continuous improvement and value creation.
What You Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or Procurement.
- 10+ years of experience in sourcing/purchasing within a heavy industrial manufacturing environment.
- Strong project management skills with a proven ability to assess business needs and deliver results.
- Expertise in contract administration, supplier sourcing, and program evaluation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint).
- Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and thrive in a collaborative team environment.
