Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Business Development Manager to lead the expansion of raw materials and chemical materisl testing services. This role is ideal for a results-driven professional with deep industry knowledge and a passion for building meaningful partnerships across the textile supply chain.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and nurture strong relationships with clients, partners, global retailers, and apparel brands to unlock new business opportunities.
- Develop and execute strategic plans to grow material testing services, identifying target clients, market segments, and partnership opportunities.
- Drive revenue growth through persuasive pitches, proposals, and presentations, while actively participating in seminars, exhibitions, and promotional campaigns.
- Conduct in-depth market research to stay ahead of industry trends, client needs, and emerging opportunities in textile compliance.
- Lead, mentor, and inspire the business development team to meet and exceed performance targets, providing ongoing training and development.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with global, operational, technical, and marketing teams to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
- Stay current with global RSL compliance regulations, testing standards, and market dynamics, representing the company at key industry events.
- Provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior leadership to refine business strategies and enhance overall performance.
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience in business development within the textile, apparel, or testing industry.
- Strong understanding of chemical material compliance, chemical testing, and sustainability standards.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to lead teams and manage cross-functional collaboration.
- Fluent in English and Chinese is required
