Role Overview

The Supply Planning Manager is responsible for leading the end-to-end supply planning process across manufacturing sites, ensuring alignment between demand, production, and inventory strategies. This role plays a key part in driving service levels, optimizing working capital, and improving planning processes within a complex supply chain environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Own and manage the end-to-end supply planning process, ensuring alignment between demand, production capacity, and inventory targets
  • Develop and maintain feasible supply plans in line with manufacturing constraints (capacity, lead times, materials availability)
  • Lead and drive the S&OP / IBP supply review process, providing scenarios and recommendations to senior stakeholders
  • Collaborate closely with production, procurement, logistics, and demand planning teams to ensure smooth execution of plans
  • Monitor and improve key KPIs including OTIF, service level, inventory levels, and forecast adherence
  • Identify risks in the supply chain (capacity constraints, material shortages) and implement mitigation plans
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance planning accuracy, efficiency, and processes
  • Support the implementation or optimization of planning tools (SAP, IBP, APO, etc.) where applicable
  • Manage, coach, and develop a team of supply planners (if applicable)

Profile Requirements

Experience

  • 5-10+ years of experience in supply planning / production planning within a manufacturing environment
  • Proven track record in end-to-end supply chain planning and S&OP processes
  • Experience working in an international / multi-site environment
  • Strong understanding of capacity planning, MRP, and inventory management
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and drive decisions
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Experience with ERP / planning systems (SAP, IBP, APO, or equivalent)
  • Experience managing or mentoring teams is required
  • Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence stakeholders
