Tender Manager - Ocean
My client who's a global freight service provider is seeking a dynamic RFQ & Tender Management Manager to lead our global ocean freight tender processes and help grow our business through precision, collaboration, and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
Review RFQ documents and customer requirements to ensure alignment with the company's capabilities and strategic objectives.
Liaise with account owners and customers throughout the RFQ lifecycle, managing clarification requests and negotiating terms and conditions.
Lead the global ocean freight tender process from RFI/RFQ/RFP to submission, including post-award and post-mortem activities.
Launch internal RFQ initiatives and coordinate with global procurement, account teams, and other stakeholders to compile comprehensive RFQ responses.
Maintain close communication with account owners regarding RFQ status and outcomes.
Keep precise records of RFQ activities, including trade volumes, submission deadlines, and results.
Drive RFQ efforts to increase win ratios in line with corporate direction and growth targets.
Job Qualification:
- At least 5+ years of proven experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or tender management
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- Ability to manage multiple RFQs across global teams
- Proficiency in MS Office and tender management tools
